Ecole Africaine des Métiers de l’Architecture et de l’Urbanisme (EAMAU) is an interstate institution of higher education and research. It was founded by a resolution of the summit of the Heads of State of the OCAM in 1975, following a study of UNESCO on the effective necessity of a training institution in architecture and urbanism, for the benefit of African cities undergoing urban growth and development.
